Thanks for Filling Out the Survey
The Reunion Committee is well into planning for our 50th reunion. We had 78 classmates fill out the survey on the site giving us a good idea of what kind of event you all want. We have posted the results here. Thanks to all of you who volunteered to help out. We will be getting back to you.
In the meantime, the Reunion Committee will meet next Wednesday, March 12 at 6 PM at Shakers Restaurant, 801 North Central Avenue in Glendale. It's a block north of the 134. All alums are welcome.

This website is for finding and keeping in touch with members of the John Muir High School class of 1961 in Pasadena, California. Yes, we graduated 48 years ago...gulp! It sure doesn't SEEM that long ago!
Reunion Committee News
Next Reunion Committee meeting is Wed., April 14, 2010 6:00 p.m., at Shakers, 801 N. Central, Glendale. All classmates are welcome.
The Reunion Committee has begun soliciting comments and suggestions for the location and events for our 50th Reunion in less than 2 years (see survey).
If the reunion committee has your email address, you should be receiving a notification of our Survey within the next few days asking for feedback about what kind of reunion you would prefer for our 50th. Please fill it out. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes and will help us tremendously. If the reunion committee doesn't have your email address, you can correct that by clicking on the "Udpate Form" at the bottom of every page or just fill out the survey. We want to hear from as many of you as possible.
We recommend that you register with the John Muir Alumni Association. There is a link on every page on this site to encourage you to do so. They will respect your wishes if you chose not to be included in the alumni directory. If you are concerned about your privacy but still want to find your old classmates, you can get a "throw-away" email account from Yahoo or Hotmail and use that as your only link. If you begin to receive improper replies, you can simply never go back to the email account again. Yahoo and Hotmail will turn off the account if you abandon it for 30 days.
If you have a new email address or know of other classmates' email addresses, please fill out the form at the bottom of every page on the site. We want as many of our classmates as possible to be informed of our reunion plans. We will not use this information for any purpose other than contacting you regarding reunion or class news. We have even refused to provide our database to the Alumni association because our terms of use prohibit us divulging the information to third parties. If you want to be registered with the Alumni Association, you have to do that yourself.
